Fort Worth Family Photographer at Northwest Community Park – Scenic Family Photo Session Near Haslet, Rhome & Saginaw

As a Fort Worth family photographer, I’m always on the lookout for beautiful, accessible locations that offer both charm and variety — and Northwest Community Park absolutely delivers. Nestled near Haslet, Rhome, and Saginaw, this hidden gem is one of my favorite spots for family photography in Fort Worth and surrounding areas.

This particular session featured a sweet family of four with two energetic boys aged 7 and 4. From the moment we arrived, the boys were ready to explore every corner of the park — from running wild through the open fields to leading the way along the winding walking trails. It’s always such a joy photographing children in their element, and this park provided the perfect playground for adventure and candid moments.

Even though the little creek that runs through the park was dry during this visit, the surrounding greenery and textures still added beautiful variety to the backdrop. The lake shimmered softly behind us, the trees gave us lush shaded areas, and the golden hour light filtering through made everything feel magical.

We even had an unexpected surprise — a chicken randomly roaming freely through the park! It definitely added a little humor and excitement to our evening and made for a fun story to remember.
